Series of 3 Webinars – 4th, 11th and 18th November – 10am-11.15am
Covid has made us all relook at our farm attractions; how we operate; how our teams are set up; when we open; as well all the overall guest experience and events offered.
Change is challenging, however, it also brings opportunities. Now is the time to take stock and create a 3-5 year plan. Working with inspirational consultancy, the Barefoot Thinking
Company, delegates will join 3 group sessions and each time, evolve and adapt their plan a little further.
This webinar series via Zoom provides an opportunity for you to do some strategic thinking about your business. Throughout the session, you’ll obtain the content and tools, as well as the opportunity to work in breakout groups with other participants.
These sessions will be run by Barefoot’s owners, Peter Redstone and Martin Bloxham, both of whom have many years experience in leadership. Peter also has provided training in Creative Thinking for Duchy College’s annual ‘Challenge of Rural Leadership’ Course for over 10 years.
Session One – 4th November – 10am-11.15am
The first session is all about taking stock. If you want to plan for the future, you need to understand where you are.
Session one will include:
Identifying the key elements of your business over the last 3-5 years
Highlighting the key people and stakeholders involved
Understanding what you really offer?
Identifying what works and what needs to be improved?
Session Two – 11th November – 10am-11.15am
The second session starts to look ahead, exploring outcomes and potential options.
Questions asked and explored in this session include:
Where do want your business to be in 1-3-5 years?
What would great outcomes look like?
What are some of the options which you could consider in terms of product/service offer, markets, promotion and pricing?
Session Three – 18th November – 10am-11.15am
The final session will look at which option you want to pursue and what key actions are needed to take it forward.
In this third session, you will identify:
Which of the options looks most attractive?
