The Venue

Farmer Palmers logoThe Education workshops also double as mini open days, giving delegates an opportunity to see around the host farm park. During the day there will be a presentation from Farmer Palmer’s about their business and a tour.

Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park began 19 years ago as many of the NFAN members, diversifying a dairy farm. The family run, award winning Dorset farm park is aimed at children under 8 years old. It operates alongside the working farm..

Play areas include the indoor Little Farmer’s Fun Barn, outside interactive Sand and Splash waterplay zone, a sand playground for sliding, springing, swinging and colourful climbing frames. There are also indoor and outdoor bouncy castles.

Each year they have tried to add value and season longevity starting with an indoor soft playzone in 2005. The existing sand play area caters for all and the upgrade to the outside water play, with SSP, gives interactive Sand and Splash, don’t forget a towel! The 2 bouncy castles are designed to their own specification. The Indoor Little Farmer’s Fun Barn was an inspirational design in 2014 by the Palmers and Greenspan. Straw Mountain is always so popular for young farmers and the Wendy houses are for imaginative play. Wooden caterpillars and snails line the Woodland Walk trail and are fab for photos. Add to the mix pedal go karts, pedal tractors and there is plenty, for those keeping an eye on the Health and Safety or maintenance, to keep themselves vigilant!
