Isle of Wight Roadshow

Join fellow NFAN members for a three day, two night tour of farm parks and other attractions in Southampton and the Isle of Wight. Book the package below online or call the NFAN office. Tue 19th June


If you are arriving by train/plane meet at Southampton Central Station at 1pm.

If you are flying, direct regular trains form the airport to Southampton Central take just 10 minutes.

Let the office know your travel plans and we will co-ordinate shared taxis/minibus.

Longdown Activity Farm, 15 min outside Southampton, Farm Park, Farm Shop, indoor & outdoor play areas and new for 2018 the Animal Encounter Barn.

7.30pm Join fellow Roadshow tour party members for a networking dinner at Chilworth Manor Hotel.
Wed 20th June
09.00am Coach departs Chilworth Manor Hotel. (Cars may be left at the hotel, no car-parking  charge).


Red Funnel ferry departs Southampton for East Cowes (as foot passengers). Leisurely 1hr crossing, time to enjoy the views of Southampton and the Isle of Wight from The Solent. Cafe available on board.  


The Garlic Farm is a unique visitor experience based on garlic. Education centre, farm shop, tractor trailer tours, café & play area. Guided tour, Q&A with the owners. Enjoy a delicious garlic inspired lunch.
Robin Hill Country Park, family attraction on a large site. Maze, ¼ mile toboggan run, net climbs, gardens & ponds, 4D motion cinema, falconry etc New for 2018 Adventure Nets – treetop canopy trampolines, tunnels, walkways. Welcome talk and Q&A.

Tapnell Farm Park, NFAN Small Farm Park of the Year 2018 and runner-up best Food & Beverage award. After checking in to your accommodation there will be time for a guided tour of the Farm Park, eco cabins and pods, before enjoying a networking dinner.
8.00pm  Join fellow Roadshow tour party members for a networking dinner in Tapnell Farm’s Cow Co Restaurant..
Thurs 21st June
 09.00am Coach depart’s Tapnell Farm Park
The Needles Landmark Attraction – Chairlift to the beach, boat ride to the Needles included, children’s rides etc. Range of gift shops including coloured sand souvenir activity, glass blowing and sweet making demonstrations.

12.00pm –


12.00pm Coach departs the Needles

1.30pm: Ferry Departs East Cowes (lunch not included)

3.00pm Coach drops off Southampton Central Station

3.15pm Coach drops off at Chilworth Manor – collect Cars.

Package includes 2 nights Dinner Bed & Breakfast, coach transfers (20th & 21st), return ferry crossing, entry to all attractions, refreshments and lunch on Wednesday.

Hotel Tue 19th June

The Best Western Chilworth Manor Hotel is 4 miles North Of Southampton. Set in extensive grounds, includes a gym and indoor pool. The networking dinner will be in a private dining room in the hotel. Cars may be left at the hotel. SO16 7PT

Accommodation Wed 20th June

Staying at Tapnell Farm Park on Wednesday night is a bit different to the usual hotel stay. Accommodation will be in a mix of room types from the beautiful old manor (which has been upgraded) to trendy self catering glamping units. All with the stunning Tapnell Farm views. Some rooms are en-suite, many are not. Pods, Modulogs and Cabins have two/three bedrooms so whilst you will have your own bedroom you are likely to be sharing the cabin. If you have a preference for accommodation type please let the office know, we will do our best to accommodate preferences but please note we cannot guarantee accommodation type. Breakfast will be a continental style hamper.

Arriving by train/plane – shared transfer

Southampton is served by regular trains, just over an hour from London with fares from under £10 single.

Southampton airport is just 10 mins by train from Southampton Central. Fights are available from many UK regional airports including Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh & Aberdeen

If you are arriving by train/plane we will orgainse shared transport. Departing Southampton Central Station at 1pm going to Longdown Activity Farm and on to Chilworth Manor hotel. Cost £15pp + VAT. Select this option as part of your booking below (or return at a later date to book it). Let the NFAN office know your travel plans.

The coach meeting the Ferry in Southampton on Thursday will drop back at Southampton Central by 3pm.


Please indicate on the booking form below if you have any special dietary requirements, if you arriving by train on Tuesday and want to share transport, and any preferences for accommodation type at Tapnell Farm Park.
