in Press Releases tagged

The National Farm Attractions Network received a record breaking number of entries in their annual farm attraction ‘Oscars’.

Aimed at finding the stars of the farm park industry, the NFAN Awards reward farms in a number of categories including Farm Park of the Year, Best Digital Presence and Best Food and Beverage.

The awards are now closed and the judges are carefully considering each entry with the winners due to be announced at the NFAN Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition in February.

Many of the awards are being judged by independent judges including Farm Park Attraction of the Year being judged by Christopher Howard, a Tourism Consultant from VAQAS.

Christopher said the standard of entries had been very high.

“I have been impressed with the number and quality of the entries received,”

he said.

“I look forward to carefully considering the different parts of each business as part of the judging process for Farm Park of the Year.”

Matt Heast, Chairman of NFAN, said:

“Many of our members are industry leaders in terms of innovation, catering and customer service. Our awards recognise the great contribution Farm Parks make to the tourism industry in the UK. We’re very proud of our farm park members and the NFAN awards give credit to our winners in a number of key areas.”
