PAST EVENT – This workshops covers safe management of animal contact, the application of the Industry Code of Practice and the new Animal Attraction Assured certification standards.

• Explore ways to manage animal contact using the Industry Code of Practice.

The workshop led by Ray Hipkin a Chartered Safety Practitioner are for business owners, managers and those responsible for Health and Safety management and will look at how to maintain best practice in Play Equipment and managing Animal Contact Areas.

The workshop is practical and tailored to the needs of farm attractions – share experiences on how we identify hazards and their causes as well as some of the tell-tale signs that tell us when we need to take action.

During the course, practical sessions will take place around the host Farm Park. You will share experiences on how we identify hazards, look at good practice and discuss how it is maintained, including different approaches you can take to meet and exceed the Industry Code of Practice.

You’ll leave with a whole range of ideas, hints and tips which you can put into practice straight away back at work.
