The National Farm Attractions Network (NFAN) has launched its 2014 farm attractions ‘Oscars’ to find the stars of the farm park industry.
We’re looking for the UK Farm Park with the X-Factor; a trade supplier that shows Britain’s Got Talent and farm park catering that rivals Masterchef!!
Other awards include ‘best in class’ Customer Service, Best Digital Presence and a special award will be given to an ‘Unsung Hero’ – a member of staff or volunteer who has gone the extra mile for their farm park.
This year, most of the Awards will be judged independently from leading figures in the farm and tourism industry including Christopher Howard, Tourism Consultant for Visit Britain, who will be judging the Farm Attraction of the Year.
2013 Farm Park of the Year Winner, Steve Vinden from Odds Farm Park said the awards were a fantastic way to recognise farm parks and trade suppliers.
“Winning Farm Attraction of the Year gave us a real boost. It was great for team morale and I would urge all NFAN members to enter.”
Chairman of NFAN, Matthew Heast, said: “Many of our members are industry leaders in terms of innovation, catering and customer service. Our awards recognise the great contribution Farm Parks make to the tourism industry in the UK. We’re very proud of our farm park members and the NFAN awards give credit to our winners in a number of key areas.”

Matt added:
“We are delighted that most of the categories will be independently judged this year including the Jim Keetch Farm Attraction of the Year. We look forward to receiving all the entries and finding our 2014 NFAN stars.”
