Back for it’s eleventh successive year, Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2010 is taking place 24-30 January 2010. The campaign demonstrates to everyone that breakfast is the meal you can’t afford to miss, with the new theme ‘Breakfast Benefits’. The campaign showcases the most important meal of the day and raises awareness of the nutritional benefits of eating a healthy breakfast as part of a balanced diet and active lifestyle. Farmhouse Breakfast Week also provides a perfect opportunity to promote the wealth of wonderful breakfast produce available around the country. From butchers style bacon and sausages to speciality breads and cereals, there is a fantastic choice to benefit the start of your day.
There are hundreds of breakfast events planned across the UK to celebrate the most important meal of the day. Please visit the campaign’s website for further information how you can get involved www.farmhousebreakfast.com and to order all your event resources. Recipe booklets, ideal for giveaways and event posters and stickers.
New for 2010 is a photography competition to find the best breakfast views enjoyed across the country. Send us your best breakfast view – including breakfast, of course, to be in with the chance to win kitchenware. It could be a favourite breakfast in the garden, a tasty breakfast on holiday, or even somewhere more unusual. For further information and to download an entry form visit www.farmhousebreakfast.com. The six shortlisted entries will be uploaded to the Farmhouse Breakfast Week website, and visitors asked to vote for their favourite picture. Closing date is the 4th December 2009.
Also, for all the latest campaign information follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/breakfastweek and join us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/farmhousebreakfast.
