The Pink Pig is situated on a farm which has been farmed by the Jackson family for over 90 yrs. The Pink Pig diversification took place in November 2001 and has been growing steadily since then. The farm is still very much a working farm but now includes a prizewinning farm shop (FARMA farm shop of the year 2005), a 90 seater licensed restaurant and a farm adventure trail. We raise our own pigs, eggs, potatoes and carrots for sale through the shop and entertain over 1500 school children a year plus over 20,000 people on our farm trail. The farm trail is where we see the expansion.

We are looking for someone with animal experience who also enjoys interaction with the public and 'hands on' animal husbandry. We have 12 outdoor breeding sows plus progeny and 600 laying hens plus all of the animals on the trail. You will be involved in the daily management of the farm, be able to see the 'bigger picture' and be able to follow an ambitious five year plan.
