Influence the industry’s direction

• NFAN are one of the key consultants the HSE have chosen to produce future guidelines for farm visits.  As a member you’ll have direct contact with members talking to the HSE, helping to ensure future HSE guidance is workable for your farm attraction.
• NFAN are also in contact with other trade bodies and government agencies to encourage support for the farm attraction industry. 
• You’ll received important up to the minute updates on any HSE advice notes.

Network and learn from fellow members

• Learning from other members is a key benefit of membership.  Annually we hold  a conference, as well as  Farm Attraction Open Days throughout the year.
• We’ve co-ordinated the formation of County Groups to enable members to work together to solve local issues.  For example, business rates or [Please provide another example to include here].

Receive sound industry advice

• Through the NFAN office, you’ll tap into a pool of knowledge. In addition to the telephone service, you’ll obtain access to the Members only section of the website with free downloadable Fact Sheets.
• You’ll be the first to hear important industry news by email and receive NFAN’s quarterly ‘Network News’, tailored for the farm attraction industry.
• If you are setting up an attraction, we can provide specific assistance to get you on the right path.
• If you are seeking Grant Aid Funding , we can advise where this can be sourced, including the provision of a supporting letter to strengthen your grant application.

• Have a planning problem? As a member of NFAN you can request a free 15 minute consultation from industry expert, Barry Davies from Davies and Co.
• Want a recommended insurance product?  Through our preferred insurance partner, we’ve developed an insurance product for the farm attractions industry.

Participate in marketing activity

• As a member your details are added to the NFAN website, often used for day out directory websites as a source of information. 
  
• You’ll have the opportunity to participate in any nationwide promotional tie-ups NFAN organises for its members.   A recent promotion was will Muller Yoghurts.

From 2012, NFAN will offer a tiered pricing level to make it fairer to all members. The categories are:

1) Less than 20,000 visitors per year: £90 + VAT

2) 20,000 to 74,000 visitors per year: £125 + VAT

3) 75,000 to 149,000 visitors per year: £200 + VAT

4) More than 150,000 visitors per year: £250 + VAT

However, now we are getting into Spring(!) we have introduced Pro-Rata pricing so the rate for the remainder of 2012 has been reduced. Please download your application form to see our new prices from £60 + VAT!
