Winners 2005

Category A was won by Cannon Hall Farm from Barnsley in South Yorkshire.  Home to hundreds of animals from exotic to farm animals, with an adventure playground, a farm shop, tearoom and under cover picnic area.  There's something for everyone all year round.

Category B was awarded to joint winners Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre from Peterborough in Cambridgeshire and St Leonards Farm Park from Bradford in West Yorkshire.  St Leonards is home to lots of different animals and offer a variety of facilities including play areas and nature trails.  Visitors can see the farm by tractor and trailer or even by pony and trap, once seen, visit the gift shop and the Wain House Tea Room.  Sacrewell Farm and Country Centre is an attraction that offers everything from a working watermill to play areas to farm animals.  After all that exploring the Miller's restaurant and shop can provide home cooked food and souvenirs.

Category C, under 20,000 visitors was won by Cantref Adventure Farm and Riding Centre from Powys in Wales.  This is a working farm that offers a variety of animals, indoor play areas, outdoors play and picnic areas and even accommodation.  You can explore the surrounding areas by farm trail or even join a horse ride across the Brecon Beacons and then finally relax in the farm cafe.
